Boo Boo Stewart Interview

Boo Boo Stewart is busy for someone who's only 13 years old. He's part of the Disney music group T-Squad and is starring in an upcoming movie called American Cowslip, which deals with important issues like drug addiction. He also models, performs stunts and competes in martial arts! We caught up with him while he was filming a commercial with Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus - check out what he had to say!

Sindy: Havin' fun with Miley Cyrus?
Boo Boo Stewart: Yeah! I've actually toured with her before cuz I'm on Disney Records in a group called T-Squad and I've toured with her, so I've met her before.
Sindy: Cool! So I'm totally curious how you got the name Boo Boo.
Boo Boo Stewart: When I was a baby, I always used to suck my two fingers and my parents said I had a boo boo face, so that's how I got my name.
Sindy: What's your real name?
Boo Boo Stewart: It's Nils, but everyone calls me Boo Boo.
Sindy: Tell us about your upcoming movie, American Cowslip.
Boo Boo Stewart: I just filmed American Cowslip a few days ago. It was sad, but it was fun. I actually play a drug dealer and I deal drugs to the lead actor. Rip Torn is in it, Diane Ladd, Peter Falk, Val Kilmer... it was really cool.
Sindy: What's your character like?
Boo Boo Stewart: I play a punk kid in the movie. I wear leather, a whole outfit, and it was really hot out every day and I had a dripping shirt! And I ride this really cool bike cuz I ride all around and it was really fun to do!
