Fashion Police :: 2008 Golden Globe Awards

Just because the Golden Globes were cancelled this year due to the ongoing writer's strike in Hollywood doesn't mean Kidzworld's Fashion Police took the night off! Instead of choosing which stars were the best and worst dressed on the red carpet, we've decided to pick out some dresses that they should have worn to the awards show. Check out our top picks!

Keira Knightley

This dress would look fab on Kiera Knightley. If we see Keira Knightley's naval one more time, we're gonna scream! We'd prefer to see her a little more covered up and wear something like this chocolate brown gown. It's a tad on the conservative side, but the gathered empire waist and metallic beads along the neckline give it some flash and make it stand out enough for her to own the spotlight.

Ellen Page

This dress is cute and quirky - just like Ellen Page! If it were up to us, we would've picked Ellen Page to score the Golden Globe for her role as a pregnant teen in Juno! But since it's not, we'll settle for picking out what we'd love to see her in. She tends to wear a lot of black to red carpet events, so we would dress her up in somethin' cute, quirky and a little off-beat, just like her! This black dress with big purple sequins, paired with combat boots or maybe even her fave Chuck Taylors, would suit her tomboy chic style to a tee.

Nikki Blonsky

We chose a fun and flirty frock for Nikki Blonsky.Hairspray star and Best Actress nominee, Nikki Blonsky, would've snagged some serious style points in this hot pink halter! The bright, bold color and layers and layers of tiers make this a fun and flirty frock that's perfect for hittin' up all the Golden Globe after-parties with her Hairspray castmates.

Amy Adams

This dress is fit for a princess! We loved watching Amy Adams play Giselle in Enchanted, so we would dress her up in a beautiful gown that's fit for a princess! From the chiffon layers to the full skirt, everything about this dress screams fairy tale and is sure to catch Prince Charming's eye as he rides on by.

It's really nice that your mother supports it, that always helps!! I'm glad that your family enjoys his company as well. Being 16 while he's 20 is alright. It's a slight odd age gap. But, I think as long as you both are ready, it's alright. Make sure you're mature and safe with your choices though. Personally, I think you should wait until you're closer to at least, 17. But, as long as you two are smart about what you're doing, it should be alright when it come around to it.

You can still talk to him when it comes to your anxiety attacks and all of that because I have those too every night so I know how it feels, but maybe you should wait. But at the end of the day it's your decision I'm just here to give advice

I feel like that too. My best friend will always hang out with her 'new friends' that I have a really bad opinion about. My friend will treat me rudely all the time and sometimes make fun of me with her friends. But, when I needed her the most in my life, she was there for me, and I told her how I felt. She says that she just wants to hang out with more people and apologized, people can be a little teasy at times.  Also, after seeing each other for a long time, people make new friends and start hanging out with them more, it doesn't mean that she doesn't like you.  This may be different for you, but just tell her about it, she will have to know you feelings at one point.  Hope I helped you.
