Fashion Police :: 2008 Grammy Awards

The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will go down without a hitch on February 11, 2008, so Kidzworld is picking out what some of the top nominees should wear so they don't commit a fashion faux pas on the biggest night in the music biz! Check 'em out!

Rihanna

Rihanna will look Caribbean cool in this dress!

Rihanna may be on top of the music world, but she should never forget where it all started. That's why we'd dress her up in this shift frock, which gives a nod to her Caribbean roots with its tropical floral print and warm hues. The dress is sexy, yet comfortable enough to dance around in, and won't cause her to have any wardrobe malfunctions when she gets on stage with '80s R&B group, The Time.

Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse should stick to what's in her closet.

Although she has an impressive six nominations, Amy Winehouse will be a no-show at this year's Grammys cuz her attempts to get a visa to enter the US were nixed. However, she will still perform live via satellite from England! Since she's stuck in rehab and probably doesn't have any time to shop, we think she should pull out some items from her closet that she looks fabulous in - a simple, sporty tank, a glammed-up vest and skinny jeans. Oh, and don't forget that signature beehive 'do!

Feist

Feist doesn't need an outrageous dress to stand out.

Feist doesn't need to wear a look-at-me dress to stand out at the Grammys cuz her hauntingly beautiful voice speaks for itself. This songstress is nominated for four Grammys including Best New Artist (huh? Feist has been singing for years!), and we hope she'll be accepting all four awards in something like this simple, but pretty tiered gold frock.

Justin Timberlake

JT can jazz up his suit with a funky tie.

Justin Timberlake, who's up for five Grammys this year, can pull off a suit better than anyone else in the business, so that's what he should stick to come Grammy night. Suits can get a little boring, but he can jazz it up with a really funky tie that either has a crazy pattern or is brightly colorful - or both! It's just too bad we won't be able to see JT perform What Goes Around Comes Around...

Plain White T's

The Plain White T's should wear plain white tees!

Think the Plain White T's should keep it simple in plain white tees? Or, how about a T-shirt that has a tie and suspenders print on it? They'll look dressed up for the awards show even though they're keeping it casual! They can accessorize with belts, watches or hats, and finish the look off with skinny jeans for that effortlessly cool rock star style.
