Start your engines and get ready for a look inside the world of CART racing. The tour is all about fast cars, hot chicks and drivers who will never be mistaken for NBA superstars.

Start your engines and get ready for a look inside the world of CART racing. The tour is all about fast cars, hot chicks and drivers who could be mistaken for garden gnomes.

1Winning a CART race depends on way more people than just the driver - who gets the girls and sprays champagne over everyone after he's won the race. Each driver has a huge team of people who make sure the car is properly tuned up before the race starts. There is also a pit crew that must be able to refuel the car, change the tires, and make any other changes to the car in lightning fast time, so the driver doesn't lose any valuable time in the race.
1The guys driving CART cars are flying around the track at up to 240 mph (384 kph.) At the same time, drivers are trying pass one another while making sharp turns without slamming into the side of the wall. This is what makes auto racing one of the most dangerous sports in the world - so don't try it with your parents' car at home.
1The CART tour goes through seven countries on a wide variety of different tracks. Some of the races are run on oval road courses while others wind through tight curves on temporary tracks set up in the middle of a city. One of the big challenges for CART racers is adapting their driving styles to the many different courses.
1Most of the drivers on the CART tour wouldn't make very good basketball players or offensive linemen. The ideal driver has a small frame and is light so he can fit into the tiny cockpit of a race car. Most of the drivers are shorter than 5'10. The smallest guy is Cristiano da Matta who is just 5'4 and 130 pounds.
1If you go to any CART race, you'll notice there are lots of fast cars and even more good looking girls. Most race teams have their own smokin' hot cheer team dressed in tight spandex. Some of the outfits make Britney Spears look like a Catholic school science teacher.

Every sport is dangerous, some are just more obvious than others. When people are good at what they do, they make things seem easy. very well said! CHEERLEADING IS LIKE DANCE GYMNASTICS MIXED TOGETHER WITH WORDS. AND DANCE AND GYMNASTICS ARE CONSIDERED SPORTS.
