Book Review - Almanac of Alien Encounters

Who built the pyramids? Was it really the Egyptians, or did aliens build the fantastic structures? When people see strange shapes flying through the skies are they seeing swamp gas, alien saucers or are they just plain loco? The Almanac of Alien Encounters gives the 411 on all that and tons of other alien encounters - from ancient armies seeing flying "shields" to modern Gray aliens and strange stories. It has info on everything except why the aliens on Roswell eat Tabasco sauce and how X-Files hasn't been cancelled.

The Almanac of Alien Encounters is stocked full of info and weird facts. It even has a super cool how-to guide that tells you what to do when you see your first alien, and who to call afterwards. The bummer is that it's a snore to read. The info is cool but it's like reading a history book - if you aren't a total paranormal nut you'll end up catching Z's.

Eric Elfman's collection of alien info is cool, but take it in small doses unless you need some extra naptime. You're best off checking it out for school projects on aliens or so you can prove to your younger brother that aliens really are hiding under his bed at night.
