High Wizardry, is the third book in Diane Duane's extraordinary Young Wizard series. Like the previous books in the series, this promises adventure, excitement and some thought-provoking ideas. Hey, if you're a science fiction fan - then this is a wizardry for you!

Our favorite wizards, (I'm telling you, they're right up there with Harry and his pals!) Kit and Nita, are up against the The Lone Power (who makes Voldemort seem like a pussycat) yet again. And that's not all. That's right, we saw her coming at the end of Deep Wizardry and now she's here. Nita's little sister, 10 year-old Dairine has officially received her wizard's manual. Oh yeah, two things - Dairine, being as young as she is, is a wizard with almost limitless power, and her wizard's manual is an Apple computer (I can see the feature film product placement already.)

Being a novice wizard is not without its risk. Dairine nearly folds the known universe inside out with her first attempt at a space-time slide. It is the first of a series of spells that takes us jump after jump across the galaxy. That's right fantasy fans, this is a wizardry of the techno-space variety.

Diane Duane creates as much magic as her wizards, in each addition of her Young Wizards Series.
RATING:

Keep reading cuz A Wizard Abroad, the fourth book in the Young Wizard Series, sends Nita (and you) to Ireland!
