What do Michael Jackson, Enrique Iglesias, BSB and Destinys Child all have in common this week? Which lil pup has a new disc on the way and which rap act performed in New York? Find out...

1Whoa! I hope you have your allowance money saved up, cuz October 30th was a big day for CD releases. Michael Jackson's Invincible, Enrique Iglesias' Escape and the Backstreet Boys' Chapter 1 - Greatest Hits all hit the stores.

Jacko's Invincible is a 16-track CD, which includes the first single, You Rock My World. Latin hottie, Enrique is sure to have fans scooping his CD off shelves with his hot single, Hero. BSB's Greatest Hits album is a collection of hits from the early days up to Black & Blue. It also has one new track called Drowning. I wonder if a greatest hits CD could mark the final chapter of BSB?

1I know we've barely carved the pumpkin, but Destiny's Child has released their Christmas album called 8 Days of Christmas. I'm dying to hear the girls tackle some classic Christmas songs with their choirgirl pipes. Knowing Destiny's Child, I'm sure it won't be a bunch of slow carols for roasting chestnuts on an open fire. It's probably gonna have some upbeat, bootylicious, shake-down-the-tree tunes like Boney M's Christmas album. The 18-track disc includes faves like Here Comes Santa Claus, Frosty The Snowman and Jingle Bells.

1Lil Bow Wow will be coming your way with some new tunes just in time to go under the X-mas tree. In a couple of weeks the first single from his new CD Doggy Bag will hit the radio. The single is called Thank You. "It's a song directed to the fans," says producer Jermaine Dupri. "The song is thanking everybody, not just the fans. (He's thanking the) mom-and-pop retail stores, just everybody who had a hand in helping Bow sell three million records." According to Jermaine, Doggy Bag will be out December 18, 2001.

1The Beastie Boys hit the stage in New York for the first time since 1999's Tibetan Freedom Concert. MCA, Ad-Rock and Mike D sang tunes from 1998's Hello Nasty and 1994's Ill Communication. Proceeds will benefit people affected by the September 11th disaster in New York.
