Kristin Kreuk Biography

Birthdate: December 30, 1982

She never had aspirations to become a star, but Kristen Kreuk has succeeded in Hollywood anyways. Get the goods on this down-to-earth Canadian girl!

Kristin Kreuk's Start

Kristin Kreuk was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She started acting in high school plays but never pursued it too much. Kristin just happened to be in the right place, at the right time, when during her senior year, an open casting call was faxed to her high school! She went to the audition and snagged a starring role on the short-lived Canadian TV show, Edgemont.

Kristin Kreuk's Super Role

While working on Edgemont, Kristen went on to land an even bigger role. Twenty-two year-old Kristin Kreuk has been playing Lana Lang, Clark Kent's secret crush, on the WB hit Smallville, for four seasons now! When Kristen Kreuk's not solving mysteries in Smallville, the half-Dutch, half-Chinese actress lives in Vancouver - spending time with her friends and family. In Kristin Kreuk's down time she loves to go to the movies, read, dance and do gymnastics. Most recently Kristen has been working on the flick Partition, which is set in 1940's India. It is due in theaters sometime in 2006.

  • Kristin Kreuk, as well as Mischa Barton and Hayden Panettiere, is a spokesperson for Neutrogena.
  • Kristen Kreuk likes to keep things casual - her fave outfit is jeans and a sweater.
  • Kristin Kreuk starred in the television movie Snow White: The Fairest of Them All.
  • Both of Kristin Kreuk's parents are landscape architects.

Kristin Kreuk Says...

"Sometimes I love (acting) but then sometimes I think it's too much for me. And I don't know if it is something that I could do for the rest of my life."

Here are my top 9 worst TV shows I have ever watched. 1. Breadwinners and Sanjay and Craig (tie) 2. Marvin Marvin 3.  Pickle and Peanut 4 Fred Figglehorn  5. Annoying Orange 6. Austin and Ally 7. Dog on a Blog 8. The Day My Butt Went Psycho (I'm not Canadian but it doesn't look like a good show) 9. Lab Rats  Basically every show that has a laugh track.  If you are looking for a good show, watch Doctor Who. No laugh tracks, humor is used properly, good storyline, DOESN'T take place in a school ALL OF THE TIME (well, it does in some episodes such as school reunion) The cast isn't full of teenagers and parents won't get so annoyed of the show. It's about a 900 year old time lord (who looks like a human) that travels in a TARDIS. He has 13 regenerations and almost always has a female companion with him. He is the last of his species so he's always lonely on Earth.

Plus he said MOST on cartoon Network. Not every show. I have to agree. There is better TV out there... Such as.... *takes deep breath* Doctor Who (Better than ALL of the trash they show on Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and most cartoon network shows combined) Old spongebob (not the new spongebob episodes) Sherlock (hmmm I have never watched the show but i have heard it's awesome) I worship the BBC for making good things happen to the world.
