Author: Diane Duane

So where are we? Oh yeah, the forth book in Diane Duane's Wizard series entitled A Wizard Abroad In this edition we hook up with Nita and Kit at the beginning of their summer vacation. Nita's parents are concerned about the amount of time Kit and Nita are spending together engrossed in acts of wizardry (if that's what their really up to.)

Believing it is in her best interest, Nita's rents send her to stay with family in Ireland, for a rest from magic and a break from Kit. Nita is very nearly crushed at the prospect of being so far from her wizardry partner for so long. That is until she discovers more and greater magic than she has ever witnessed before. Add to that a kindred spirit in her Aunt (her talent had to come from someone in the family!) and the myths and lore of Ireland. Of course Kit's only a wizardry away.

Once again Duane creates an exciting adventure, weaving the legends and monsters of Old World Mythology with Nita and Kit's modern-day wizardry. The battle between good and evil has never been vivid, so historical and fictional at the sametime.
So do you like monsters? Mythological creatures? Legends from ancient times? Then pick up A Wizard Abroad. It's Duane's best work!
