Sindy:: Hey Kortney, how are you? Where are you calling from?
Kortney:I’m good! I’m calling from my school in West Hollywood.
Sindy:: Cool! So how long have you been acting, Kortney?
Kortney:: I started when I was four months old.
Sindy:: Wow, you were so young? Which commercials have you done?
Kortney:I did commercials for Dairy Queen and Orville Redenbacher!
Sindy:: Did they give you lots of popcorn and ice cream?
Kortney:Lots of popcorn but I only did the voice-over for Dairy Queen!
Sindy:: Oh boo! What are you working on next?
Kortney: My agent just called me today and said that I booked an All-State commercial!
Sindy:: Very cool. I also heard you’re in the new Transformers movie—that’s pretty awesome!
Kortney:: Thank you!
Sindy:: So who do you play in Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen?
Kortney:: Mozambiqua.
Sindy:: What was your favorite scene to shoot?
Kortney:: Well, Mozambiqua has three sisters and they’re all playing in the pool on the slippity slide—then they take water guns and squirt their auntie! (laughs) The slippity slide was my favorite scene.
Sindy:: Is it hard to do school with your acting work too?
Kortney:: Mm, no, not really.
Sindy:: Are you a big swimmer?
Kortney: Yeah I can say that I like to swim a lot.
Sindy:: How’s the weather now, is it hot?
Kortney:: Not really, it’s mild but when it gets hot I’m definitely going to go swimming!
Sindy:: Sounds like a good idea. Have you seen the first Transformers movie?
Kortney:: Well I’ve seen bits and pieces of it. I liked it!
Sindy:: Did you get to meet Megan Fox?
Kortney:: No, but I think she’s pretty!.
Sindy:: Do you like movies with special effects?
Kortney:: Yes, but my favorite movie is Parent Trap.
Sindy:: The new one with Lindsay Lohan?
Kortney:: Yeah, I like that one the best.
Sindy:: What about your favorite actor?
Kortney:: My favorite actor is Ashley Tisdale.
Sindy:: Yeah she’s great. Would you want to work with her?
Kortney:: It’d be great to work with her. I’d also love to work with Corbin Bleu and Zac Efron!
Sindy:: Do you sing or dance at all?
Kortney:: I’m taking singing lessons and I really like it.
Sindy:: Cool maybe you’ll get a role in HSM 4!
Kortney:: That’d be awesome.
Sindy:: Any advice for other kids thinking about acting?
Kortney:: Well all I gotta say is try your best and do it!
