I agree with almost everything except the: "leaving normal monsters" out part. Normal monsters are just as tough and cool as any effect monster. And there are some cards that work around normal monsters like Ancient Rules or Red Eyes Wyvern. There are also cards that work against effect monsters such as Curse Of Anubis. I also don't really like the 40 cards thing, you can lose a duel by running out of cards and some decks are built for that. A deck should have no more than 50 cards.
