Las Vegas taxi driver Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson) thought he’d seen it all—until two alien teenagers appeared in the back of his cab with a serious mission. Jack must help Seth and Sarah find their ship and elude an intergalactic bounty hunter or all of humanity is doomed! Check out Kidzworld’s review of Disney’s action-packed Race To Witch Mountain.

Alien Abilities

Imagine taking $15,000 from an ATM without a bankcard or moving objects with your mind. Seth and Sarah’s alien gifts are great assets but they aren’t enough to get them back to their ship. For that they enlist the skilled driving abilities of Jack Bruno and the scientific expertise of Dr. Alex Friedman and together they travel across the desert in search of their ship.

Imminent Invasion

Seth and Sarah journeyed to Earth to find a cure for their planet. Their race wants to invade Earth, but Seth and Sarah know they can find an alternative. Jack takes them to an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere, but when they overpay him, he feels guilty and goes inside to investigate. He follows the kids as they trek down a secret passageway inside a refrigerator and discover a hidden jungle deep beneath the Las Vegas desert.

Siphon In The Shadows

All along, a mysterious figure has been trailing behind Seth and Sarah. Once the kids find what they’re looking for—an abandoned experiment that could save their planet—the they encounter the Siphon, a bounty hunter engineered by the alien military to kill its target by any means necessary. Seth and Sarah will need all their cunning and a lot of help from their friends to evade the Siphon and return home with the experiment.

Special Features

There aren’t many bonus features on this DVD, but you do get some Bloopers and Extended And Deleted Scenes where the director explains why each scene was cut.

The Bottom Line

Race To Witch Mountain is a high-energy romp through the Las Vegas desert with plenty of alien surprises along the way.

First, you figure out which is the liar without asking any questions. Say something like, "I'm assuming that you are a guard, but correct me if I am wrong." If they say they aren't a guard, they are a liar. If they say they are or don't say anything, they are the truthful guard. Then, you can proceed to ask them which door is the princess and which one is the dragon.  "I'm assuming you are a guard" this could still be counted as a question. If you simply say "You sir are certinally a guard" then he will simply answer of course I am if he is the truthful guard. If he is the lying guard he with deny it. Your not wrong but, we don't want to take risks with our lives now do we.
