A while ago Gary put together a list of game cheat codes for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It had codes for extra life, more beans and lots of good stuff. But you know what? It wasn't enough! Kidzworld kidz (and parents) kept asking for more hints, tips and codes.

Cheats:While you're playing, hit Select and these buttons: B, A, B, A, B(2), A(2).
| The Spell | Where To Get It | What It Does |
| Alohamora | Meet Hermione in the Common Room after Quidditch Practice, she'll teach it to you. | It opens all the 'Star' locked doors. |
| Flipendo | Prof. Quirrell teaches this to you in your first lesson. | It shoots a ball in a straight line that can knock things over, break items or stun bad guys. |
| Transfiguration | Learn it in a Transfiguration lesson. | It lets you turn objects into birds to get them off of switches. |
Find three pumpkin pastries to increase your life points by one. Here's where they're located:
#1 - Win the challenge when you are learning the Alohamora spell from Hermione. She'll give you a Pumpkin Pastry.
#2 - Just before Hagrid's house go down and to the left 'til you find the patch of brown dirt. Go through the trees into the forest and you'll find a chest with the pastry.
#3 - In Snape's dungeons there is a Pumpkin Pastry hiding up & to the right of his bookcases.
#4 - Enter the secret area by Green House 1 - it's to the right by a tree. Go down and beat all the enemies, then go south and do it again. Then a Pumpkin Pastry will appear.
