Delgo: A Hero’s Journey is a new animated film out on DVD August 4. Dive into a magical – and animated! – world where two rival civilizations (and two heroes in love) have only one chance to save their world after the truce they had established between them crumbles.

The Story

Delgo, the main character, is a happy-go-lucky Lockni growing up with his loving parents in a beautiful land called Jhamora. Everything in Delgo’s world seems perfect – until the Nohrin arrive. These fairy-like winged creatures, who were exiled from their land, are welcomed by Delgo and his fellow Lockni with open arms.

The Nohrin, however, are ruled by a king who has a pretty horrid and cruel sister – Sedessa – who has her evil sights set on wiping out the Lockni (despite all the good things they’ve done for her people). Sadly, before she can be stopped, Sedessa actually gets to Delgo’s mother and father, leaving him an orphan. When the Nohrin speak out against her onerous deeds, she retaliates by trying to exterminate her own people, too. She eventually gets chased out of the kingdom.

Fast-forward 15 years. Delgo, now a teen, is still angry at the Nohrin for killing his parents; it’s starting to look like he’ll never get over his hatred untila beautiful Nohrin princess – Kyla – comes along and rescues him as he fails at one of his daredevil stunts. The two become inseperable friends, even though friendship between Locknis and Nohrins is, at this time, strictly forbidden.

In fact, Delgo and Kyla’s relationship starts a huge controversy – and even threatens to spark a brand-new war between the races.

The Cast

The Delgo movie includes some pretty big names in its cast – we’re sure you’ll recognize the voices of one or two of them, even if they are animated characters in the film. Celebs include hunky Freddie Prinze Jr., action superstar Val Kilmer and sweetheart actress Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Oml, I remember when I first saw the song title of that on YouTube. XD I couldn't stop laughing for like an hour. That is such a weird song title. It sounds a bit naïve to me, honestly. FroyoYOLO... Like what even? Granted though, I've never heard the song or even seen much but seconds of the show..."InternetOwl" wrote:Liv and Maddie is a corny show in itself, tbh.
