Natasha Bedingfield Biography

Birthdate: November 21, 1981
Birthplace:London, England

Natasha Bedingfield is an international pop superstar with a string of hit singles. Check out Kidzworld’s biography of this talented singer/songwriter.

Sizzling Soundtrack Songs

Natasha Bedingfield got her start as a member of the Christian dance group The DNA Algorithm, but she quickly made a name for herself in the pop world with her debut album, Unwritten. You’ve probably heard the title track as the theme song to The Hills! Her music has been used in commercials, movies and television—Pocketful of Sunshine was even recorded in simlish for the video game The Sims 2: Free Time!

Awesome Accolades

Her debut album Unwritten sold over 2.5 million copies and Natasha received a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2007. That May, Natasha got the chance to travel the world when she supported Justin Timberlake on his FutureSex/LoveShow tour.

Fans First

Natasha doesn’t like to do a lot of photo shoots, but when she does she likes to dress and act like she would in her private life. She claims she doesn’t want to appear like a pre-packaged pop star. She also refrains from posing for men’s magazines, because she thinks her looks should be secondary to her music.

Fun Facts

  • Unwritten was featured in the movies, Ice Princess, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and The Da Vinci Code.
  • Natasha has a new album due out in 2010 that will feature Wyclef Jean, Sia and Sam Sparro.
  • The song These Words was inspired by Natasha’s writers block! Natasha was so frustrated she jokingly kept repeating I love you over and over and that became the hook!
  • Her brother, Daniel Bedingfield has had hit singles of his own including Gotta Get Thru This and If You’re Not The One.
  • Natasha voices a character in the James Bond video game, From Russia With Love. She plays Elizabeth Stark, the Prime Minister’s daughter who gets kidnapped.

Think Natasha Can Make It in the States?

  • Yeah, if she's Daniel's sister she can do anything.
  • I think her music will be a big hit in North America.
  • Probably not. It's hard to break into the music industry in North America.
  • No way! Her music sucks.

I thought it'd be cool for all the anime fans if there was a forum where we could find friends who like the anime we do :) Personally I really need some more friends who like what I do. Maybe you'll find someone who shares your love for something really obscure! Including manga too. To start off here are some favorites of mine: (just because one isn't here doesn't mean I might not like it too so everyone please share yours!) Black Butler D. Gray-Man No.6 Yu-Gi-Oh Seraph of the End Puella Magi Madoka Magica Horimiya Kekkai Sensen Free! Kyoukai no Kanata Tamako Market (especially its movie!!) My Little Monster Mekakucity Actors (and that whole music project that it's based on) Toradora! haven't finished reading/watching but like: (if you like it I'll make it a priority :)) Akagami no Shirayuki-hime Pandora Hearts Kyou Kara Maou Kuroko no Basket Noragami Kiznaiver  Bungou Stray Dogs The World Is Still Beautiful Ajin Haikyuu!! Aldnoah.Zero Princess Tutu That's all I could think of for now! What are yours? Note: No bashing other people's faves! Have debates/flame wars elsewhere. (Especially about Sword Art Online. Let's not even touch that)

Finding Nemo, only because Finding Dory took awhile to establish itself.

Which channel do you think as of today is the best channel for kids today on cable. I would probably go with Disney XD. It's just as good as it was back in 2009 in my opinion and it has a great selection of shows. What do you think is the definitive channel for kids in 2016?
