After a spooky-good start with her first novel, In The Forests of the Night, Amelia Atwater Rhodes comes out biting with another vampire tale, Demon in My View. This novel one-ups her first attempt by jumping deeper into the "life" of the deliciously dark vamp Aubrey and spinning in a human factor - which just happens to be a teen author. Hmm... Intrigued? You should be.

Demon in My View introduces Jessica, a seemingly average teen attending Ramsa High School in Massachusetts. Jessica is considered a freak at school - and that's without anyone knowing that she writes best-selling vampire novels. Being a teen author who dreams, and then writes down, the dark history of vampires is not Jessica's only secret... it's just the only one she knows about. There is something in her family history that only vamps like Aubrey (the demon in her view) know about. But - you guessed it - that'll change...

Amelia Atwater Rhodes outdoes fellow vampire writer Anne Rice with this deep, riveting tale that's bound to keep ya flippin' pages until the wee hours of the morning (although you'll most likely be under your bed with a garlic necklace.) You seriously won't be able to put down Demon in My View. And the fact that Amelia Atwater Rhodes is a teen writer herself, can't help but make you wonder how much of Demon in My View is fiction and how much is based on Amelia's real life. SPOOKY!
