Survivor 4 Marquesas - Episode 11

It's day 31 on the Marquesas island and it's clear that diet, poor living conditions and homesickness are taking a toll on the remaining six survivors. Emotionally, people are extremely sensitive and talking about their loved ones can make 'em blubber in an instant. Physical weakness becomes obvious for Sean when he nearly falls from a tree. Neleh Dennis' happy-go-lucky attitude and her girl-next-door scam is driving the tribe (except for Paschal English) crazy. And an unexpected encounter from the outside world brings all the tribe members to tears.

Reward Challenge:

Everybody wins a little something in this unusual Reward Challenge. Knowing how much the tribe is missing their loved ones, host Jeff Probst, brings one loved one to the island for each person. The visitors include Kathy's son, Vecepia's fiance, Sean's buddy, Paschal's wife, Neleh's mom and Robert's sister. This challenge involves the visitors instead of tribe members. Competitors stand around the edge of a large turtle-shaped puzzle and take turns flipping over pieces. One at a time as they step off a piece onto another, they have to flip it over to reveal a green side. They continue moving to new pieces but once there are no pieces left to flip, they're trapped and they're out! The last person standing gets to spend a night with their loved one. Each person who is kicked out gets to hug their survivor, which makes everyone's day. In the end, Patrick wins the game and gets to spend a night with his ecstatic mom, Kathy.

Immunity Challenge:

This Immunity Challenge involves hand-eye coordination. Each tribe member has an hourglass-shaped tower with their name on it, which is full of sand. The front of the tower is covered with different shaped tile pieces. Using a slingshot and rocks, the object is to break your opponent's tiles, which releases sand and covers their tiki statue below it. When a tiki is completely covered with sand the player is out of the game. You'd think that this would be a really difficult challenge but everybody is in control of their slingshot. Vecepia breaks Neleh's last tile, covering her tiki and winning Immunity for the first time.

High Points:

Sean and Vecepia mimicking Neleh's high pitched voice and her "I'm so happy to be alive/ I'm so sweet attitude."

Kathy's son Pat spending a night at the camp. Kathy put him to work crunching troca shells. Pat realized the harsh living conditions his mom and the others are enduring.

Low Points:

Neleh Dennis frolicking and shouting in the waterfall.

Neleh trying to be sweet in front of the camera.

Neleh being the most annoying tribe member ever!

Neleh not getting the boot, but instead voting Robert DeCanio out at Tribal Council.

Survivor Saying of the Week:

"Here I am having this loyalty with Paschal and Neleh and if we get down to the final three, they would vote me out. If I end up in the final three with Sean and Vee, they are going to vote me out. Help me, what should I do?"
