Jakks Pacific has come up with a video game that will get you off the couch and moving! With the Star Wars Republic Squadron Motion Flight Game your own moves and motions control the game, meaning you’ll have to stay on your “fleet” if you wanna win this one!

Ready For Lift-Off

The Star Wars Republic Squadron Motion Flight Game is basically a game controller that you plug into your TV; the game is built in. It has AV cables attached, and on the controller are a menu button, an on/off switch and dual trigger buttons on both ends and underneath.

Setup is super-easy: since it's a plug-and-play toy, there's nothing to build or put together. The only thing that’s needed is four double-A batteries for the controller, which you insert by turning the controller over and unscrewing the battery compartment. Then just plug the AV cord into the proper TV input, hit the on switch and you're good to go.

Mission: Fun

The mission in this game is to help Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker fight General Grievous and his separatist forces. To do so you’ll have to fly a number of ships in a series of over 20 campaigns to ultimate victory. All the directions for game play pop up on your TV screen as soon as you plug in. Just choose a mission, hit the A button a couple of times and you’ll be on your way to outer space.

Thumbs Up

  • This easy-to-use plug-and-play game comes with everything you need right in the box – no gaming console or extra software required!

  • Thumbs Down

  • One player only – but that doesn’t mean you can’t watch and cheer on whoever is using the game!

I'm known for liking pugs. Literally. At classes I can hear people whispering "Yeah, that's her. She's the one who likes pugs." when they walk by me. I'm just like, "Yep. Nothin' to see here. Just keep on moving."
