Beyonce Featuring Lady Gaga: Video Phone
Whatever Beyonce sets her mind to, whether it's acting, singing, dancing or clothing design, she succeeds at in a big way. When she was eight years old, Beyonce Knowles auditioned for a kids singing group in Houston, Texas and met LaTavia Robertson (who later became a member of Destiny's Child). The two later met Kelly Rowland and LeToya Lucket and formed the group Girl's Tyme. The group went on the compete and lose on Star Search. Girl's Tyme later changed its name to Destiny's Child and Beyonce Knowles' dad left his high-paying job to become their manager. The girl group was eventually signed to Columbia Records in 1997 and landed a song on The Men in Black soundtrack called Killing Time. Destiny's Child's self-titled debut was a huge success. Destiny's Child's later released, This Is The Remix and Beyonce Knowles' solo debut Dangerously in Love hit store shelves in June 2003. Beyonce released the album Live at Wembley in 2004 and in 2006 she released B'Day. In 2001, Beyonce Knowles starred in the MTV adaptation of the opera Carmen, A Hip Hopera. In 2002, she played Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers: Goldmember. Since then Beyonce has snagged roles The Fighting Temptations, The Pink Panther and Dreamgirls.
Demi Lovato: Remember December
A lot of Demi’s success stems from the undying support of her family. Demi’s mom was a professional cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys before she pursued a singing career and Demi’s older sister Dallas loves to sing and dance too—the entertaining gene must run in the family! Demi was only a toddler when her parents divorced so she stayed with her mom and sister in Texas while her father moved to New Mexico. Unfortunately her father was later diagnosed with cancer, which made it difficult for him to travel to see Demi and they rarely saw each other. Since Demi was so young when her biological father left, she’s always considered Eddie DeLaGarza, her mom’s new husband to be her dad. He and Demi’s mother always encouraged Demi to follow her dreams and their love and support keeps Demi grounded. After years of auditions Demi finally landed her big break with a part on Barney & Friends, but the audition process didn’t just mark the beginning of her career, it also marked the beginning of an important friendship. While Demi was killing time in the waiting room she asked another girl in line to sit and color with her—that girl was Selena Gomez! Selena landed a part too and the BFFs filmed two seasons of Barney together—little did they know that one day they’d both have their own Disney shows!

Chris Brown: Crawl
Chris Brown's self-titled debut album peaked at number two on the charts and sold more than three million copies worldwide. Not bad for a first effort! That album snagged him three Billboard awards and a Grammy nomination. His follow up album, Exclusive, came out in fall 2007 to great critical response. Not content to only make waves in the music industry, Chris turned his talents to acting. He's appeared on TV shows such as One on One and The OC and plays the part of Duron in the fraternity flick Stomp the Yard. Chris also played his first lead role in the holiday movie This Christmas. In February 2009, Chris turned himself in to the LA Police Department because he'd been booked on suspicion of domestic violence. It was later revealed that Chris Brown assaulted his girlfriend, fellow R&B star, Rihanna. Brown released a statement saying, "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired." In March of 2009, he was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats and plead not guilty on April 6, 2009. If you or anyone you know is in an abusive relationship, you should talk to an adult and get help. It's never alright for your partner to hit you.
