Play, sweep and clean your way to the top of the Zookeeper’s universe in the new animal care-taking game World of Zoo by THQ. Look after the animal enclosures and play with your animals to work your way up the rankings in search of becoming an Animal Whisperer.

Visit the Zoo

World of Zoo offers a variety of animals to start off with and you can even create your own. Mash-up whatever animals you want to create a hybrid of your choosing. From there you can edit existing animals, giving them different hair cuts and styles and you can work to earn your way to more unlockable rewards. Choose from a variety of animals, from Crocodiles to Big Cats, Elephants to Koalas each with their own enclosures and play sets to choose from.

Not much to do

Beyond collecting and playing with your animals and ensuring their health and happiness by cleaning their pens or administering medication should they fall ill, there isn’t a lot to do here except unlock new accessories or items to play with. This isn’t a Tycoon style game where you manage the Zoo’s gate fees and income to turn a profit, this game is more about taking care of the animals in an effort to improve your reputation with them.

Is it worth the trip?

If you like what World of Zoo has to offer you’ll be able to spend plenty of time caring for the animals and keeping them clean, but for people who want more action or more of a hands-on managerial approach, you’re best looking elsewhere. World of Zoo may hold your attention briefly, but won’t hold your interest enough to encourage repeat visits.
