Join Marty and Grace in the thrilling sequel to Cryptid Hunters—Tentacles by Roland Smith.

Author: Roland Smith

Grace and Marty’s last adventure was life-changing. Travis Wolfe’s team of Cryptid Hunters found two dinosaur eggs in the Congo, while narrowly escaping Noah Blackwood (Grace’s grandfather) and his politically powerful cronies. Weirdest of all, Marty and Grace discovered that they aren’t twins like they had been raised to believe—they’re cousins!

Aboard the Coelacanth

Now Grace, Marty and his best friend Luther are joining the Cryptid Hunter’s on their journey by sea to New Zealand. Their ship, the Coelacanth (see-la-kanth) is fit to burst with high-tech security equipment, hoping to thwart Noah Blackwood from infiltrating their ship. But a man with as much money and influence as Noah Blackwood is hard to keep at bay.

Giant Squid

The team sets sail in search of another creature of legend—a giant squid. Meanwhile, they prepare for the dinosaur eggs to hatch. But there’s some suspicious activity going on aboard the ship. Cameras and security gadgets are going missing. It’s rumored that there may be a stowaway.

Evil in Disguise

Butch McCall, Noah Blackwood’s main man, has disguised himself as a scientist and boarded the ship. With so many faces on board, he’s sure to blend into the crowd. When the timing is right, it’ll be his job to kidnap Grace, steal the dinosaur eggs, and sink the Coelacanth. Is he up the challenge?

The Bottom Line

Tentacles by Roland Smith is non-stop entertainment. The book mentions a lot of high-tech devices and ship operations, but it’s easy to follow for those who aren’t familiar with the equipment. Adventure lovers and sci-fi buffs won’t be able to put Tentacles down.

Tentacles Rating: 5

I'm not saying humans should be tested on. There are alternatives where humans and animals are both not tested on such as "Organs on chips" which basically mimics the structure and function of human cells and tissues and they have been proved to replicate human medical responses more accurately than animal experiments do. There's also another alternative which is cell and tissue models that are used to access the safety of medicines as they replicate key traits of normal human skin. Besides not all animals react the same way as humans depending on different medicine types. There's various alternatives being used now that don't harm animals in anyway. I believe humans and animals are equal in fact we all come from the same kingdom so why should they be treated any different?

Woah, okay so, years ago when I was 12,13 maybe, I started this story and remembering it and finding it on here (with a different account,of course) is amazing, so if anyone wants too, I can maybe restart it? Or I can rewrite it, either way just say if you want me too!!!

Uniforms - other kids can't see your taste in fashion and you don't stand out by what you wear, AND they can't judge you if you're different. With uniforms, people are being judged on their personalities, not the brands that they wear.
