You've already made your choice - to go out with your ex boyfriend's cousin. Unless you stop going out with his cousin, I'm afraid there's not much you can do. It's his right to feel bad that you ditched him for his family member. Let him deal with his feelings however he needs to. Who knows? Maybe one day he'll forgive you and you can be friends again. Only time will tell.
