Skintimate Studios™ :: Smooth Moves in Front Of and Behind the Camera Contest!

Skintimates Studio ContestCourtesy of Skintimate Studio

Dream of seeing your name in lights? Skintimate™, the #1 women’s shave prep brand, is searching for the next generation of female filmmakers with the launch of the first Skintimate Studios program. Kicking off May 10, 2010, Skintimate Studios Skintimate Studios will offer teen girls nationwide, 13-18 years of age, a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn first hand what it takes to be a Hollywood filmmaker.

From May 10th to June 15th, girls will visit www.skintimatestudios.com and enter for a chance to win a spot in an all-girl film crew. Contestants will need to answer two questions, either via video or written essay, explaining why they want to be part of Skintimate Studios and what their strongest trait is that would make them a valuable member of the Skintimate Studios crew. Skintimate will review entries and on June 30th select eighteen girls who will be flown to Hollywood in July for a seven-day film production.

During this time, girls will have the chance to work closely with an experienced Hollywood film crew to learn the in’s and out’s of making a 12-minute short film. The two short films will premier on the Skintimate Studios website on or about August 1st allowing America to view the two teen-created movies and cast their vote for their favorite.

The winning film will be announced online on or about August 19th. The winning crew will receive a $500 scholarship prize and a hand held video camera to continue crafting their filmmaking skills.

Skintimate™ is thrilled to be starting Skintimate Studios and offering this once in a lifetime Hollywood experience,” says Jeffrey Wolf, Senior Brand Manager. “Young women look to Skintimate® to give them the smooth confidence they desire on a daily basis and we are happy to provide them with that. Today’s young women know what they want, dream big and they can accomplish anything they set their mind too. We are excited to discover fresh talent and kick start tomorrow’s filmmakers.”
