Make sure your popcorn’s popped and you’re tuned in to the Disney Channel on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, to watch the premier of the all-original, music- and adventure-filled flick StarStruck, starring Sterling Knight of the hit series Sonny With A Chance. We can’t wait!

StarStruck Story

Sterling (who you may have also seen in the movie 17 Again) plays Hollywood pop star Christopher Wilde who, after unexpectedly meeting a down-to-earth Midwestern girls named Jessica Olson (played by TV actress Danielle Campbell), is faced with a tough choice: doing what’s best for his glitzy career or following his heart to true love.

The story follows Jessica and her family as they visit her grandmother in LA and she winds up meeting Christopher by total chance. It might seem like Christopher has it all – fame, fortune and a big-budget Hollywood movie in the works – but after spending time with Jessica, he realizes he's been missing out on something very important – being himself. As he shows her the city hottest spots – Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, the Hollywood sign and Grauman’s Chinese Theatre – the two develop a tight friendship that’s tested when Christopher publicly denies knowing Jessica to save what he thinks is how public image. So, who’s REALLY “star-struck?”

StarStruck Sounds

This movie promises to be filled with incredible music, from the opening scene to the closing credits! In fact, Sterling’s music video, StarStruck, will make its world premier ahead of the film, on January 15, 2010, on the Disney Channel. Then you can cop the entire StarStruck Soundtrack in stores and online starting February 9, 2010.

StarStruck Stars

Besides Sterling and Danielle, you’ll see other familiar celebrity faces in StarStruck:

  • Brandon Mychal Smith from Sonny With A Chance as Stubby;
  • Maggie Castle from The Time Traveler’s Wife as Sara Olson;
  • Chelsea Staub from JONAS as Alexis Bender;
  • Dan O'Connor from Malcolm In The Middle as Dean Olson; and

So even though Tangled was really funny i will always pick Brave. That's a really good point ^-^ I still like Tangled better. The plot made more sense and was better written (in my opinion though) I thought the humor was better as well; definitely a lot less crude! Also, the lack of songs in Brave bummed me out... it is a Disney Princess Movie :/ (Don't argue that it's Pixar!) Wait you think because it's a Disney movie there has to be singing!? Really that's dumb. Ok that Iis just my opinion. But really that's dumb.
