Greatest Missed Dunk of All Time
It didn’t happen during a slam dunk contest, where players whip out their fanciest moves without risking a game. Nope, this slam dunk happened during a REAL game. In traffic.
The only reason we can think of for Shannon Brown of the Los Angeles Lakers to pull out such a risky move during the team’s Game 1 against the Pheonix Suns is he was trying to make up for disappointing his fans during this year’s slam dunk contest.
Halfway through the fourth quarter of an otherwise standard game of basketball, Brown tried to pull of Dwight Howard’s famous Superman Dunk from 2008:
Even though Brown missed, we’re still amazed he even tried to pull off that move. Actually, the miss was so epic, people started calling it the best missed dunk of all-time pretty much instantly. You be the judge. Check out the stills and let us know what you think in the Comments section below:
