Greatest Missed Dunk of All Time

It didn’t happen during a slam dunk contest, where players whip out their fanciest moves without risking a game. Nope, this slam dunk happened during a REAL game. In traffic.

Dunk Tank

The only reason we can think of for Shannon Brown of the Los Angeles Lakers to pull out such a risky move during the team’s Game 1 against the Pheonix Suns is he was trying to make up for disappointing his fans during this year’s slam dunk contest.

Halfway through the fourth quarter of an otherwise standard game of basketball, Brown tried to pull of Dwight Howard’s famous Superman Dunk from 2008:

Missed Opp

Even though Brown missed, we’re still amazed he even tried to pull off that move. Actually, the miss was so epic, people started calling it the best missed dunk of all-time pretty much instantly. You be the judge. Check out the stills and let us know what you think in the Comments section below:

It's definitely an American thing - here in Australia we have like no Cheerleaders or Cheerleading groups. I think it's a sport but I'm not really into it. I think any girls or boys can do it. :3

Sure, many girls can fight, in fact some can fight really well, however it is a fact that women are generally physically weaker than men, which means that if a healthy male and a healthy female were to fight then the outcome wouldn't be 50/50 but rather 25/75 if even that much, this assumes that both the male and female have the same experience, training and of course both are healthy. This doesn't mean that women are inferior to men, but I am just pointing out facts, the notion that men and women are exactly the same and should be carrying out the same tasks is ridiculous.
