Powerpuff Girls Movie Review

The Powerpuff Girls movie with Bubbles, Blossom, Buttercup and Mojo Jojo is awesome!

Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup make the big screen explode in their very first megaplex adventure. The Powerpuff Girls Movie is truly somewhere just short of awesome. For all the cave dwellers out there who haven't been following the tough puffs, the movie tells the story of how The Professor, while trying to create a batch of really nice kids, accidentally spills some of his secret ingredient Chemical X into the mix and... well, you can guess the rest. Besides the birth of the Powerpuff Girls, the movie lets you in on how their arch-enemy, and all-round bad monkey, Mojo Jojo came into being.

And did I mention the music? Tunes! Like the movie Speed except the characters aren't as rigid. It starts a little slow but once it starts rolling it doesn't stick around to gather any moss. From the best game of demolition tag ever to baboons with butt missiles, The Powerpuff Girls Movie has it all - including my vote for the best looking flick of the summer. I can hardly wait for the live action version. Can't ya just see Freddie Prinze Jr. as The Professor?
