White Knight Chronicles, Family Party, and New Star Tennis

White Knight Chronicles
White Knight Chronicles

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview White Knight Chronicles, Family Party: 30 Great Winter Games, and New Star Tennis!

White Knight Chronicles

From Level 5, the creators of the classic RPG, Dark Cloud, comes White Knight Chronicles. The story revolves around Leonard, a young man who stumbles upon the power of the White Knight, allowing him to save the princess of the Kingdom of Balandor. There's an online portion to the game that allows you to build your own town and populate it with characters from single-player. You can invite friends over to your town and go on separate multiplayer quests with them, bringing back some really special items to the main campaign. Level 5 seems to be keeping their great RPG tradition strong with this one.

Family Party: 30 Great Winter Games

If you checked out the Kidzworld blog's Olympics Game Round-up a few weeks ago, I realized that there just aren't that many good games for Winter Olympic sports. Well, it turns out another one was coming out this week! This latest edition of the Family Party series contains not just Winter Olympics-style games (even my favorite, curling!) but also games for a snowball fight, helping Santa deliver presents, and creating star constellations. Four players can join in and earn medals for bragging rights.

New Star Tennis

The latest in the "New Star [Insert Sport]" series of sports games with an RPG twist has arrived, and this time it's tennis. You create a character and guide them through a career, competing in any of 66 different tennis tournaments on different courts. In-between tournaments, you can work on your form in training mini-games, or have a little fun by kart racing to keep your tennis star happy. As you improve your star's stats he can take on the best tennis players out there, and you can even work your way up to be world number one.

Okay, it's not a major console or PC game, but the "How to Train Your Dragon" game just became free so I thought I'd share. I absolutely loved "How to Train Your Dragon," so I was so happy when I saw this app finally become free. It's so fun for a simple puzzle mobile game! It's so well-done, AND YOU CAN PLAY AS TOOTHLESS. Ahh, it's the best! Just thought I'd share this with you all in case there are other "How to Train Your Dragon" fans out there!

Well Wittzle Pro is a mental math card game. It's where you have to roll dice to find a target number and look for an equation using three numbers in the same row, colum,or diagonal. When you find it you yell wittzle and you call out your equation. If you get it right you get the point.

The first game came out in 1991  ;) Anyway, I love Sonic! I stink at the games though lol My favorite characters are Knuckles and Charmy And I agree that this is the best single-player game ever!

At least you aren't restricted to TTC/or be only able to try the 3-day trial.  We're actually very lucky now; nonmembers don't give Disney a lick of money. I think Toontown is very different from Club Penguin.  It has a full plot and it's 3-Dimensional.  Also, you don't really do all that much in Club Penguin other than chat and do some mini-missions.  Also, the games were targeted to a different audience... and I feel that Toontown has more memories than Club Penguin; though that may be a bit biased as I don't really have any friends on Club Penguin (LOL), don't really play anymore anyway.
