Toy Story 3: The Video Game

Disney Interactive Studios has announced it’s developing Toy Story 3: The Video Game for all major gaming platforms. The game is said to feature a fun new way to enjoy the Toy Story universe. The game will be on store shelves June 15, 2010.

Toy Box: New Gameplay Mode

Toy Story 3: The Video Game will feature a brand-new gameplay mode called Toy Box, which is basically a virtual box full of toys. The Toy Box mode is designed to make you feel just like you did playing with toys as a kid by bringing cowboys, space rangers, dinosaurs and little green aliens together to create all sorts of imaginative, fantastical adventures.

Story Mode

The game will also feature a Story Mode that follows the Toy Story 3 movie adventures, where Buzz, Woody and their other toy friends struggle with their uncertain future as Andy gets ready to leave for college. Plus, you’ll be able to play with the toys in environments you didn’t see in the films, like light videogame combat with Buzz Lightyear.

iPod/iPhone App

Also coming soon is a new Toy Story 3 app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that will let you play, personalize and stay connected to Toy Story with trailers, a countdown clock, movie information, ticketing and light games and activities. The app will also have links to buy content and games like a new update of Toy Story Mania!
