The Simpsons Homer vs. Dignity

Worst episode ever? Probably not. Worst episode this season? Most definitely.
I like the Simpson family which is why I'll forgive them for this slapped together, shoddily written stinker of an episode.
The story is that the Simpson family is broke, really broke, and in need of money. Smithers takes time off to perform his Malibu Stacy Musical. While he's gone Mr. Burns decides to have some fun. Desperately seeking amusement Mr. Burns starts making Homer pull stupid pranks for him and pretty quickly Homer becomes Mr. Burns official 'Prank Monkey' in return for fistfulls of cash.
The prank jokes are forced, really lame and not even funny. None of them relate - there's no overall story. It's like the writers took a bunch of scenes and said, "Wouldn't it be cool if we could get Homer to do this?" and then did the scene. The problem is they aren't cool. There are a few moments worth watching but even the ending was lame. I'm gonna pretend it didn't happen and wait for next week's episode.
