Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver, Max & the Magic Marker, and Sushi Go Round!

Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver

Like FireRed and LeafGreen before them, HeartGold and SoulSilver are remakes of the classic 1999 games, Pokemon Gold and Silver. For those who are too young to have "caught 'em all" the first time around, here's another chance to get hooked on the greatest handheld RPG ever. The graphics are updated, the sound is updated, and you can have any Pokemon follow you around on-screen (like with Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow). Plus, every game comes with a Pokewalker, which levels up one of your Pokemon with every (actual, real-life) step you take. You've gained Walking EXP! It's Super Effective!

Max & the Magic Marker

Max & the Magic Marker is a puzzle platformer which lets you draw, well, anything, in order to get past all obstacles. Don't want the rain to hit you? Draw a shelter. Can't cross that gap? Draw a bridge. Got a cannon without any cannonballs around? I think you've got it by now. Filling up your marker's ink with power-ups while using the ink to reach those same power-ups can get pretty tense. The music by Analogik is also pretty sweet. The game's been out for PC for a while, too, so you can try an online, in-browser demo at the Max & the Magic Marker website.

Sushi Go Round

Sushi Go Round for the Wii and DS lets you run a sushi restaurant, getting all the recipes, ingredients, and orders right so you can move your way up in the sushi world. Fast-paced action and business-building simulation gaming combined keep the game ticking. With the DSi, you can even take pictures of your friends and bring them in-game, making them your customers! ...also, you can serve sushi to pandas. Just thought I'd mention that.

I've recently been learning about data corruption and how Animal Crossing games are prone to it. I have the physical version, and I'm getting the Action Replay Powersaves for 3DS. I know it's safe for Pokémon, but I'm scared that if I use it on New Leaf, my save data files will be corrupted. Is it safe to use the Action Replay on New Leaf? P.S.... No opinions please, I just want to know.
