2010 BET Awards Recap
Actress and rap artist Queen Latifah hosted the 2010 BET Awards (Black Entertainment Television Awards) at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
A Tribute to Michael Jackson
If you ever wanted to learn some Michal Jackson dance moves, the BET Awards was the perfect opportunity. Jermaine Jackson paid tribute to his brother Michael, and Chris Brown led a musical performance honoring MJ’s famous choreography. But when it came time for Chris Brown to sing, emotion washed over him. He was so choked up, he hardly got a single line out.
2010 BET Awards Musical Performances
Kanye West kicked off the musical performances with his song “Power.” Later he was followed by a number of your favorite R&B and hip-hop artists, including Usher, Alicia Keys, Drake, Eminem, B.O.B, Keyshia Cole and Sean “Diddy” Combs (is that what he goes by nowadays?). And Ludacris closed the show with “My Chick’s Bad” and “All I Do is Win.” But enough about the music! Let’s get down to business.
