Its a Disney karaoke game featuring your favourite songs from Disneys classic movies, what more do you need?

Does singing classic Disney songs like Hakuna Matata make you happy? Does the idea of a Disney singing song make you feel all giddy inside?

Chances are, you already know whether you want to get Disney Sing It: Family Hits. It's a karaoke game where you can pick out your favourite Disney song and sing along to the music. Afterwards, the game will give you a score. You can also sing with friends and family!

Mis-Sing It

There are about 30 songs in the game, covering over 60 years worth of Disney classics including Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and the Lion King. Thirty may seem like a lot, but you'll go through them really fast, unfortunately. Also unfortunate is the fact that not all your favourites will be there. Instead, there are some questionable choices like songs from A Bug's LIfe and Cars.

The music videos are a bit weird, as the actual song scenes from movies aren't always shown. Not all movies are treated equally either. Your favourite movies may only have one song while Cinderalla gets four and Toy Story gets three. There is no DLC available, so don't expect to be able to buy more songs to add to the game. Most likely a sequel game will come out in the future.

Getting It

Still, the selection is better than what you would hear on Radio Disney and there is enough songs covering enough movies for almost anyone to jump in and show off their stuff. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is superior to the Wii version, as it includes HD graphics.

Almost everyone and their dog loves Disney songs, making this a great game for parties. You can expect to whip it out and to be having fun before someone can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Great for a night of fun, maybe even two nights. But by the third you'll notice how this game is lacking something. Good your collection, but not recommended for every household.
