Actually, these days, they have people they hire to skim articles for inconsitincies, and only sometimes is the information truly edited to be wrong.
of course, this doesn't mean its super reliable

Because a smart phone is exceedingly more efficient than a library at finding information, in just about every way. I don't understand this idea that we should slow our progress specifically to keep books or libraries, or anything else. Of course, I do not think we should get rid of existing libraries or books, but this idea that we need to 'slow down' is completely contrary to everything I feel about technology. We would not reserve ourselves to horse bound carriages when most people can drive a car.
