Do you dig punk rock music? Have you discovered the catchy, kick-butt music of Simple Plan? If you haven't, then I suggest you run out and pick up their CD, No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls. Their first two singles I'm Just a Kid and I'd Do Anything are smokin' hot and the guys are sizzling too! Kidzworld got to chat it up with Chuck Comeau and Sebastian Lefebvre of the band Simple Plan and here's what the guys had to say about their music, what they look for in a girl and dirty socks!

KW: How has becoming rock stars affected your life?
Seb: Well... we get to travel a lot more than we used to, which is really cool. And we're way more busy than we were and that's good - we like it.
Chuck: We're doing stuff a lot of people will never do... like go to Japan, Australia and Thailand and a lot of people won't do that before they're 50.

KW: Where'd you guys come up with the name for your CD?
Chuck: (Laughs) The name for the CD... you know what, we don't remember... we were just messing around and we needed a name.
Seb: Well... we just like balls! Basketballs, you know we just like to play with them - any kind of balls.
Chuck: Footballs, meatballs... we might as well be honest and just say it.

KW: What's the best thing about being in a band?
Chuck: Having people like the songs... like the band or write us emails. Having someone say that song really helped me out in my life and I love your band so much... I discovered you and I played you for all my friends and they all like you. Or having people come out to our shows and wanting to meet us. If other people can relate to our music it's exciting.
Seb: They're all singing the lyrics and everything.

KW: What's the worst thing about being in a band?
Chuck: You don't get to do your laundry and your socks are always dirty and they smell bad. It sucks. That's a problem... for me it's sweating and I sweat at every show.
Seb: Little problems... dirty socks and blisters on your feet and that's it.

KW: What do you guys want to buy, now that you can afford to?
Chuck: Recently I indulged and bought myself an iPod, it's an mp3 player. And I carry all my CDs in my pocket and that's rad... that was my gift to myself.
Seb: I bought myself some sandals cuz I was sick of wearing shoes.

KW: What's the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to the band on stage?
Seb: Just playing... (laughs.) Jeff falls down like every time... he runs around super-happy then he trips on his cable.
Chuck: I got a bottle in the face and I was bleeding everywhere... I got four stitches. They figured let's have a good time and hit the drummer so yeah... that was embarrassing. I just kept goin'.
