Period Probs

Submitted by: Coolios123
My family was on a road trip. We were driving in the dark and some tampons fell outta my bag. My brother’s only 8 and hasn't really learned much about that yet. So I quickly picked em up, but I guess one fell out again. My bro said "What’s THIS?!" I said, "NOTHING!" My bro replied, "I think it's a tampon!" Me and my dad laughed SO HARD!!

Pee Flee

Submitted by: Napoleon Dynamite
I was at my friend's house for a sleepover. We were watching Napoleon Dynamite and I really had to pee. I thought I could hold it, but then I fell asleep. When I woke up I couldn’t believe it! I’d wet my pants! My friend wanted to tell her mom, so I just decided to go home. But when my mom came to pick me up I had to go back in to get something. That’s when her mom came over to me and hugged me and said, “It’s OK, it happens to everyone!” I haven’t gone over there since and that was in February!

Stair Despair

Submitted by: Slippy
One day I wore shoes that where a little too big to school. I was going to my locker before 1st period and I ended up walking next to my crush. When I fell on the stairs he started cracking up so hard it looked like he was crying. Then, before lunch, I was going to my locker to put my books away with my three best friends when I fell again! This time everyone in my class saw me and laughed. When I finally made it up the stairs there was water on the floor and I slipped again! My crush was, of course, at the top of the staircase so he saw the whole thing. Then I tripped one more time on the way down the stairs after I got in my locker. The worst part was I wore a skirt that day.

Bike Like

Submitted by: Neesie
I was riding my bike with my sister when I saw the guy that I have had a crush on since third grade. I hadn’t seen him for like three months and before he left we had been dating. So I was riding by him on the sidewalk and he came over to stop me. I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going and right before I stopped I hit a really big bump. It threw me off my bike right on top of him! He laughed and said it was good to see me, too. But I was so embarrassed!!!

Door Sore

Submitted by: ouch!
My crush was hanging at my house when my mom told me to clean our two cats’ litter box. I went into the laundry room and my crush followed me. When I was ready to take the bag to the garbage outside, I turned right into the edge of the door, hit my nose (I actually broke it) and the bag flew out of my hand and dumped all over him!!!

Miss Piggy

I was in gymnastics class when the swim team (which my crush was in) came to watch. I wanted to show off so I did this mid-air flip, totally forgetting that I was wearing a regular skirt and shirt instead of my gymnastics suit. When I flipped, my skirt flipped up! I was wearing piggy underwear with a little tail!!! Too embarrassing!!! I didn't go to gymnastics for weeks after that!

Snow White

Submitted by: Video-gamer
During story time in Kindergarten we were all sitting 'round the teacher when my leg started getting cramped up. When the teacher finished she started handing out worksheets. When she called my name I got up and I stepped on the back of my skirt. And then I tripped because my shoe came off. Everybody saw my Snow White underwear! I'm humiliated to this very day.

@rainbowpoptart  When I originally talked to my father, I was given the opportunity of good timing to bring it up. Luckily, there was no anger like I was partially expecting and I remained calm, which I definitely wasn't expecting. My fathers main concern was just worry and having seen other teens run away from something later getting themselves in trouble. He even brought up how he had run off at 18 and joined the Air Force, which I already knew. But, with this round, there is no perfect time to bring it up and he's always busy or we're having to do something so it's just very frustrating to find at least alright timing to bring it up, if that makes sense.

My advice on this may not be the best because I haven't personally dealt with this yet, but... Parents, or guardians, get used to having their children around. You're [usually] with them for 18 years, which is a long time, so of course they - or in this case, your father - is going to feel like he's lost something very dear to him once you move out. To me it seems like he does truly understand that you're growing up. He just doesn't want it to happen. He knows that you're leaving soon - he just doesn't want it to be soon. Parents/guardians who are close to the children usually feel that way. If you're really so concerned, talk to him about it again, in a similar way you have done already. Or perhaps just a "Wow, my birthday is just around the corner". Once you do move out, visit him as frequently as you're able to and feel like. I'm sure he'll appreciate it, and it'll help you maintain a close relationship with him.

Usually I wouldn't come here for advice, but I am really needing it. To sum it up, my birthday is in 21 days. Not only will I be leaving KW, but home as well. My mother has made it to where I have had plans to leave since I was around 11 or 12; so about 7 to 8 years. I won't get into everything, but we'll just say that my mother and I do not have a good relationship at all. My father on the other hand, I am very attached too and always scared of upsetting him. Things are not always very good between us at times, but we rarely fight. When we do, it is always bad nor ends well. So, having plans to move out are very scary to me and causes me plenty of anxiety that fights are going to break out when I have my help to get my belongings out.   For the record, I have talked to my father about leaving, why I want too, etc. But, more in the sense of that I want too, not that I am. Which, in a way, my parents understand I'm moving out as well as already pretty much know where I'm going without my mention. But, I don't think they, my father especially, understands how soon that is despite my saying of I want too when I'm 18 or when I say, "Soon." It doesn't help that my father told another that his "little girl is growing up" on him and that he is scared of the day I go because he will be alone. Which makes me feel guilty despite the fact I won't even be that far away. How should I talk to him once more and go about this or even when? I really want him to understand that I have thought everything through and that I will be in safe hands.
