Kelsey Chow got her start doing community theatre in Columbia, South Carolina. “I was a little 7th grader at that point and I had so much fun,” Kelsey says. “But it was a long show. I’d leave school to do the show and it would end around midnight. Then I would stay up until 2:00 doing my homework, but I didn’t regret it at all. It was amazing.”
One Tree Hill
All that hard work paid off in 2005 when Kelsey landed the role of Gigi Silveri on One Tree Hill. Gigi was a recurring role in seasons 3 and 4 and she came back to town again in season 6. While studying journalism in college, Gigi also interned for the Ravens announcer Mouth McFadden.
Den Brother
After the success of One Tree Hill, Kelsey scored a role on the Disney Channel movie, Den Brother. Kelsey plays Matisse Burrows, the junior leader of her little sister’s Bumble Bee Troop—and the crush of lead guy Alex Pearson!
Pair Of Kings
Kelsey teamed up with Disney again for the XD series Pair of Kings. Kelsey plays the Royal Secretary’s daughter who has to help 2 brothers deal with the sudden realization that their family is royalty! “They’re two teenage boys so they have the everyday problems of meeting girls and just being brothers,” Kelsey adds. “[Pair of Kings] definitely focuses on that relationship. It’s fun because it’s kind of outside of the real world—we have pirates, mummies, and mermaids!”
