Denim Special: Back to School Edition

It’s that time of year again and what better way to update your back to school wardrobe then with the coolest new denim? A big trend for this season, denim isn’t just for jeans anymore! Denim vests, jeggings, skirts, dresses, jackets, and jeans with paint splatter, distressed detail and studs - our go-to wardrobe staple is now trendier than ever. Denim shirts, popular in the 1990s, have made a comeback and are being paired with everything from floral dresses, tshirt dresses and with regular jeans and a belt. Even denim overalls, something most of us haven’t worn since elementary school are now back in style - super cute and comfy paired with some funky Converse, and cool sneakers. Try out brightly colored jeans in red, purple or pink for a fun look! Check out our gallery of the best back to school denim pieces for back to school! We can’t get enough of the new denim - comfortable and cool yet effortlessly stylish,!

Your Denim Style

With so many denim styles to choose from, it can get a bit overwhelming when you go shopping! Which jeans are the best style for you? Skinny jeansand jeggings are perfect if you like the feel of leggings and the look of denim. Jeggings now come in all styles and colors and differ from regular skinny jeans by their thinner fabric and stretchy texture. Some jeggings are so comfortable they feel like cotton leggings! A bonus is that they easily can be worn under boots and a sweater for a cozy winter look! Boyfriend jeans are baggier than most jeans and are meant to look loose and comfortable. Roll up the cuff for an easy and casual style update! Bootcut jeans are regular straight cut and flare jeans have a slight flare at the hem - it’s just a matter of personal styleand what looks best on you! It’s always nice to have a bit of stretch in your denim - it’s both more comfortable and more flattering! It’s easy to infuse some new denim into your closet even if you don’t need a new pair of jeans - a simple denim shirt, a denim dress or vest will update your look and make sure you start the school year right on trend!

I'm a 12 year old girl with really strict parents! I do chores( even handling BLEACH sometimes) , I take care of my little brother, I'm in top set for all my classes- even on the gifted and talented register and I've only ever had 1 detention- and that was their fault anyway bc I was late( they drive). But, I'm still NEVER allowed out with my friends! My friends are all in top sets as well, are well behaved and all we literally would do is window shopping. I mean, there are my age smoking shisha and doing #####- they should be lucky I'm not a delinquent! But my parents always say I can't hang out. Not because they're worried about my safety, they just dont want me to go out.! Even sleepovers, my parents always say no because they ' haven't met the parents" but they make NO effort to do so. I'm losing out on knowing my friends better and whilst they're all making best friends, at school I'm just the person in the background- the left out friend. It hurts and most of the time I wish I was fostered or something. How can I make them loosen up? ( don't say anything about sneaking out because I chose life)

Is there a particular reason or situation causing you to feel this way? I can't provide much advice other than talk to them about it. Communication is important.

He is a jerk, but then what ?? He is your best friend . Maybe you should tell him to sleep for an extra hour. It may be a lack of sleep.
