Lucas Cruikshank Bio

Birthdate: August 23, 1993
Birthplace: Columbus, Nebraska

“Hey, it’s Fred!” You may know 17-year-old Lucas Cruikshank best as Fred Figglehorn, the character her plays on his YouTube channel. Find out more about how this teen comedian got his start!

Actor, Comedian, Director

Lucas is all three—and he can dance as well! The quadruple-threat has won our hearts online and is set to take Hollywood by storm. So far his YouTube channel has record-breaking subscriptions with over 200 million viewers, and he’s made cameos on TV shows like Nickeodeon’s iCarly.

Fred Figglehorn

You’d know that voice anywhere! Fred Frigglehorn is Lucas’ Internet sensation: a hyper, troubled and maybe (a little) annoying six-year-old with a small problem keeping his feelings in check. Fred’s day-to-day life is hilarious and frantic, from his crush on kindergarten classmate Judy to dealing with his just-out-of-rehab mom – all done double-time, as Lucas’ own voice is sped-up in the videos to make him sound more like a six-year-old.

Fred started as a way to poke fun at his younger brothers wild antics and is also to sort of make fun of video bloggers who tell everyone a little too much about themselves and “think that everyone is so interested in them.”

Fred: The Movie

Fred: The Movie has just premiered on Nickelodeon. Plus, Lucas has already agreed to a sequel and has released a Fred album called Who’s Ready to Party?

What You Didn’t Know...

  • Lucas’ family lives on a big ranch surrounded by tons of animals.
  • Lucas dreams of meeting and working with director Judd Apatow and would love to meet actress Ellen Page (his fave actress).
  • Lucas first got started making videos on YouTube with his cousins Jon and Katie Smet under the name JKL Productions before he decided to go solo with his Fred videos.
  • Apart from being talented at acting and directing, he’s also been dancing since the fourth grade and takes classes in jazz, tap and hip hop!

I saw the premiere before I left and I have to say, I was somewhat impressed. Of course it's not as good as BMW but I think they have good potential.

I was very impressed by the first episode of Doctor Who I watched which I believe was called "Rose". It was creepy  but with enough of a hint of humor that it made for an enjoyable and interesting program. Me and my dad will definitely be continuing to watch more and more episodes of Doctor Who in the future.

The answer, obviously, is Doctor Who. The show has technically been running for almost 51 years. It's  a British T.V. show about an alien with two hearts who has been living for over 1,000 years, with a time machine that can travel anywhere, or anytime, in the universe. But there's a catch to his machine, which is known as a T.A.R.D.I.S, (Time And Relative Dimension In Space): It is forever broken and disguised as a 1950's telephone box. He chooses not to fix it, despite the companions he travels with wondering to themselves, "Why doesn't he fix it? Why did he have to break it as telephone police box?" He also tends to attempt to keep the companions for as long as possible. They tend to keep him in check, safe, sane, and non-genocidal. After all, being 1,800 years old, and I'm just guessing precisely how old he is, can make you feel lonely, angry, confused, scared, and vengeful. He had to destroy his whole planet to protect the rest of the universe from being destroyed by his people and their age old enemies, the Daleks. He will forevermore remember that day, and as punishment, from the self concious weapon he used, will have to live through for a long, long time.
