Emma Stone Bio

Emma Stone was born November 6, 1988, in Scottsdale, Arizona. At a young age she became a member of the Valley Youth Theatre, where Jordin Sparks also performed. Emma was home schooled for grades seven and eight so she could appear in as many performances as possible. During this time she acted in over 16 different productions. In the second semester of her freshman year of high school, Emma convinced her parents to let her move to Los Angeles to pursue acting. When she was only 15 her mother and her moved into an apartment in LA and she began to attend auditions.


Super Star

Emma first appeared on the reality TV show In Search of the New Partridge Family and began to make appearances on shows like Malcolm in the Middle and Medium. She became a household name after starring in Superbad with Jonah Hill and Michael Cera. The film quickly shot her to fame, and landed her roles in The Rocker, The House Bunny, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and Zombieland.

Emma recently costarred with Amanda Bynes in the hit teen comedy Easy A. The movie was based on the novel The Scarlett Letter, and revolves around a girl whose reputation is tainted after a false rumor is spread across the school. Emma is set to star in Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling’s new film Crazy, Stupid, Love. She will also join Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis in the new movie Friends With Benefits.
