Waddle your way through challenging puzzles in The Penguins of Madagascar for the Nintendo DS. Read the review here!

Everyone’s favorite penguins – Private, Skipper, Kowalski and Rico – are back in The Penguins of Madagascar for the Nintendo DS. The penguins need help with three different challenges: throwing King Julien a birthday party, finding the missing Morti and getting rid of all the snow in the zoo! Each completed puzzle brings the player closer to completing their mission.

Team Penguin

Players can compete using Team Penguin or using each penguin separately. Depending on the level, players will need to alternate between penguins in order to complete certain tasks. For example, Private climbs, Skipper leads a group walk, Kowaski builds bridges and Rico blows things up. Teamwork is key in each of the challenges, and the player will need to determine the most strategic way to complete the level. For the most part the levels all include a variety of actions that need to be completed by each penguin.

Rewards

In addition to regular gameplay, there is a store run by King Julien where the penguins can purchase decorations, mini games and bonus levels. In order to buy something from King Julien players need to collect snow cones that are spread throughout each level.

If you are a fan of Private, Skipper, Kowalski and Rico you will love this game! The levels start off quite basic but increase quickly in difficulty. The player needs to think strategically in order to progress throughout the game. This is a great game that can be played for short intervals of time and then picked up at a later date.

That time I wasn't trolling. I was correcting someone who does not know the difference between a video game, and a board game.

okay, first off, HOW CAN YOU EVEN COMPARE THESE TWO GAMES?! They are completely different from each other and both are way to close to compare. Both are such great games. Skyrim is for people who want to fight with amazing graphics and go on fantasy quests. Minecraft you would have never even heard of nor played if it had not been for Mojang for putting it out on the Microsoft Xbox 360. But nevertheless, Minecraft is a sandbox builder which you can kick back and create anything you imagine. It's like legoes for grown ups. Back when I was young I use to always play with legoes, and I still do. But these games are non comparable because they are not of the same genre of game. I play both and I love both. But I would never pit two amazing games against each other to see which is best. That is like parents choosing a favorite child, It just isn't right.
