Thanksgiving Sports
The American Thanksgiving has many traditions but the most important one has got to be the football. On Thursday, November 24th, 2011, about 99% of American boys will be lounging on the couch watching football on their televisions all day long… the other 1% will be at the game.
Forecast for Football

Breakfast with Brady
The NFL has locked up almost every hour of the day’s sunshine. Good luck trying to get your little brother to go out and play with you. From the morning until night, there are 3 big football games scheduled with all the prime time players. Here’s a look at this year’s schedule:
- 12:30 est - New England Patriots @ Detroit Lions
- 4:15 est - New Orleans Saints @ Dallas Cowboys
- 8:20 est - Cincinnati Bengals @ New York Jets
NBA and NHL
The NBA and NHL players all get a break! There are only 1 NHL game and 2 NBA games scheduled and of course they are all scheduled in a way not to interfere with the NFL games. The NFL dominates the competition!
Females Into Football

Female Fanatics
Of course there are more NFL fans that are girls these days. Compared to the 1960s when the NFL was just getting going, the female attendance and fan population has million-ipled. If you’re a girl, you might want to get in on the fun. Here’s all the cool things happening in the NFL these days.

Cheesehead Cherry
- You can wear Chees-Head hats and other fun memorabilia
- Body paint yourself with your hometeam colors
- Play fantasy football
- Eat junk food all day on the couch
Predictions
These games are actually all lob-sided affairs. The Patriots, Saints, and Jets are all heavy favorites but if I were to choose one underdog, I would have to go with the Terrell Owens and the Cincinnati Bengals.
