Test Drive Unlimited 2, Hyperdimension Neptunia, and Naruto

Feb 03, 2011

Keep up-to-date with all the latest video game releases! Kidzworld has all the latest games to keep watch for. This week, we preview Test Drive Unlimited 2, Hyperdimension Neptunia, and Naruto!

Test Drive Unlimited 2

In a new seamless online and offline experience, Test Drive Unlimited 2 lets drivers take on the islands of Oahu (Hawaii) and Ibiza (in the Mediterranean) in a massively multiplayer online racing challenge. Customize your car and character and join a club with your friends so you can rise through the ranks and beat the game's story either on or offline. Take some of the coolest cars in the world and race them on and offroad over these beautiful idyllic island paradises, and you'll earn more money for every cooler cars.

Hyperdimension Neptunia

Hyperdimension Neptunia is a regular old action RPG from Japan, except-- wait a minute... It's set in the world of Gamindustri (game industry?) which is split up into four different worlds, Planeptune, Leanbox (Xbox?), Lastation (Playstation?), and Lowee (Wii???). Then beyond that there are some old obscure SEGA characters in the game from stuff like Shinobi and Penguin Land. What's going on here? It turns out this JRPG is actually about the recent console wars, but each console is represented by a different goddess. Crazy stuff, and I'd like to personally congratulate Japan on the awesome idea.

Naruto Shippuden: Shinobi Rumble

In a new DS fighting game, Naruto Shippuden lets you play an exclusive story mode for each of the game's 16 different fighters, with unlockable content for each one, including characters, stages, and secret techniques! In a simplistic new battle system, you can fight in the air or on the ground, juggling your opponent for as long as you can without letting him get a hit in. It's the ultimate Naruto portable fighter, and you can play it again and again to see each character's storyline and unlock everything the game has to offer.
