Glee fans were filled with joy when the show released its own video game – karaoke style. Each week millions of fans tune in to the hit show and sing along with Rachel, Finn, Kurt and the rest of the New Directions group. Now fans can sing the best songs from Glee episodes on their own time with the first video game and its brand new follow-up Glee Karaoke Revolution: Volume 2 for Wii.

Gameplay

Just like the original, Glee Karaoke Revolution: Volume 2 is very straightforward. The new game has the same gameplay options as the first. Players can choose Scrapbook mode or Quick Play. In Scrapbook mode, the player can choose from any of the popular Glee characters. Each character has a different list of songs to sing. In Quick Play mode, the player can choose any song in the game. Players also have the choice to play Shooting Star mode, where they can shoot for the stars (quite literally, using the Wii remote) with up to six friends.

Song Choice

In Glee Karaoke Revolution: Volume 2 players can choose from a new lineup of popular songs from Season One of Glee. Songs that are featured on the game include: “Bad Romance,” “Gives You Hell,” “Ice Ice Baby” and “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” New this time, you can sing along to songs with Jesse St. James and Bryan Ryan! Players earn points when they sing well, and get a slushy thrown at their screen when they go off key. There are also different awards that can be won along the way (ie. for the longest winning streak).

Sing-a-long

Glee Karaoke Revolution: Volume 2 is basically one big sing-a-long with your favorite Glee characters, whether that be Rachel and Mercedes or Finn and Quinn. The large quantity of songs and the enjoyable and original videos that accompany them in the background make this game a real treat. Plus, players can practice on their own and then have sing-offs with friends and other Glee fans. If you like the first game you are going to love this second volume! After all, we can never get enough Glee!
