As Lily awaits her prison sentence, her ex-husband (Serena’s father), mother and sister, Carol, arrive in Manhattan to take part in a family photo shoot. Carol despises the socialite lifestyle of Manhattan, and she wants everyone know it. When she discovers that her daughter is in Manhattan, shopping with Serena, she puts an end to their trip in the Big Apple.
After kissing Dan Humphrey, Blair spends and entire week in bed. The kiss gave her a life-changing revelation that she refuses to deal with. Though he won’t admit it, Dan realizes that he has feelings for Blair, and he thinks that her calling their kiss “life-changing” means that she likes him too. But he later learns that the kiss made Blair realize that Chuck is the one for her.
