Pretty Little Liars: Season 2, Episode 1 :: It’s Alive

Jun 14, 2011

This week on Pretty Little Liars (Season 2, Episode 1) the girls defend their belief that Ian is really dead and Caleb returns to win over Hanna. Read Kidzworld’s recap of “It’s Alive,” which aired June 14, 2011, for all the juicy details!

Where the Show Left Off

Last season on Pretty Little Liars, Spencer, Hanna, Aria and Emily banded together to try and solve the mysterious disappearance of their good friend Alison. One year after Alison’s death each of the four girls began to receive spooky text messages from someone named “A”. Witling down their long list of suspects, the girls think they have found the murderer: Ian, Spencer’s sister’s husband. Their suspicions culminated in a terrifying confrontation between Spencer and Ian at the church’s bell tower, where Ian was pushed off a ledge and hanged from the bell’s rope. But, once the police got there his body was gone, leaving the whole town to believe the girls are flat out insane. What happened to the body? Is Ian really dead? Is he responsible for Alison’s disappearance?

Therapy

Since the police can’t find a body, everyone in the town of Rosewood has trouble believing the girls. Their parents tell them they need to attend therapy to try to work through their issues, but that doesn’t help since Spencer knows what she saw, and the rest of the girls trust her. Garrett, the police officer who says he is on their side, is actually in cahoots with Jenna. We don’t know exactly what they want, but we know it can’t be good.

Love is in the Air

This week’s season premiere picked up where the girls’ romances left off. Toby and Spencer struggle to make their relationship work, which is difficult since Spencer’s family absolutely despises Toby. Aria discovers that “A” stole a key to Ezra’s apartment, and is worried that she will divulge their secret romance. Caleb returns to Rosewood and professes his true feelings to Hanna, who is still hurt. Caleb tells her about the letter he wrote which she never received, but she still isn’t convinced. While she isn’t 100% receptive to him there is still hope that they can reunite.

Is Ian really dead? Will Hanna forgive Caleb? Stay tuned for more Pretty Little Liars.

Alright let me start out by saying that, I do not think you should be forced to like anime. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions out what they watch. But their is some bogus reason to why people say they hate it. 1. "Anime is For Kids" - Alright we all know this isn't true. Sure some are directed towards kids but ones like Tokyo Ghoul, Attack On Titan, Boku no Pico, and several others that would definitely change people's mind. 2. "Anime is a bad influence" - And Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Walking Dead arent?  3. "Anime has very inappropriate messages to them that are harmful to children and adults" - Doesnt everything have their little "parodies" of the original that may have a rating of Triple X? If its out there, there is a "parody" of it. Not just anime.
