Talk about a tear-jerker! Disney’s All Dogs Go to Heaven – now on Blu-Ray – is about a dog named Charlie B. Barkin who isn’t exactly man’s best friend … until he gets an early ticket to heaven and decides he wants another chance on Earth!

Man’s BFF…or Not

Dogs are supposed to be loyal and true – everything Charlie B. Barkin isn’t. As un-Lassie-like as they come, Charlie “does his own thing” and pretty much ignores his human owner.  But when he crosses paths with a canine gangster – Carface Caruthers – he ends up taking an early trip to heaven (since all dog’s, no matter how rotten, go to heaven)…something that he is really not happy about!

Back to Earth

Charlie manages to find a way back to the living – despite a warning that he can never return to heaven – and instantly begins plotting his revenge on Carface. But when he meets an orphaned little girl named Anne-Marie (who happens to be able to talk to animals), he starts to rethink his actions here on Earth. Will Charlie be able to get a second ticket back to heaven? Will he help Anne-Marie find a forever home? You'll have to watch Disney’s animated film, All Dogs Go to Heaven, now on Blu-Ray, to find out!

'We prefer to do things comfortably.'But I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin.'In fact,' said Mustapha Mond, 'you're claiming the right to be unhappy. Not to mention the right to grow old and ugly and impotent; the right to have ######## and cancer, the right to have too little to eat; the right to be lousy; the right to live in constant apprehension of what may happen tomorrow; the right to catch typhoid; the right to be tortured by unspeakable pains of every kind.' There was a long silence.I claim them all,' said the Savage at last.Mustapha Mond shrugged his shoulders. 'You're welcome,' he said.”  I freaking LOVE Brave New World! It's one of the best books I've ever read, and that conversation between the Controller and John is my favorite part  [s:sm3/1jw1]
