Hey Coach,
I've been playing basketball nearly everyday for about a year but I suck. When I play games, I'm not that confident when I get the ball and I'm always afraid that I will mess up. More than anything, I want to be a NBA basketball player. There is nothing else I wanna do when I'm older. Please help me.
Tim

Hey Tim,
Very few players ever make it to the NBA, so you may want to think about other careers you'd like to have, other than playing pro basketball. You've been playing ball every day for the past year, so obviously you love the game and should keep on playing. Don't worry too much about making the NBA, just concentrate on having fun and becoming a better player.

Even if you don't become a pro basketball player, you can still find a job related to basketball when you're older. You could become a basketball coach, you could design basketball shoes or you could work at a sporting goods store selling b-ball jerseys.

Do you have a question on sports, skateboards, skateboarding, fitness, P.E. class, rules to sports or health? Send it to the Kidzworld Coach. Keep in mind peeps, the Kidzworld Coach isn't a doctor or a professional athlete or anything like that. He's just a dude who digs sports, plays 'em and knows a lot about 'em. You should always talk to your 'rents, a doctor or your school gym teacher before starting a new sport or a new exercise.
