Player’s Choice

The game pits an all-star roster from Nickelodeon’s Nicktoons series against the best players in the MLB for the ultimate baseball experience. In the game there are a variety of modes to provide different playing options. In Pick-Up Game Mode, five Nicktoons characters like SpongeBob and Patrick team up with four Major League Baseball players for a quick game of ball. This is the simplest way to play. In Tournament Mode you must decide whether you want to support the Nicktoons characters or your favorite MLB team. Once you have chosen your team you play head-to-head against other MLB teams. Each time you win a game you move forward in the tournament. In Distance Derby, players hit targets in order to win points. If you get a winning streak of three you will get the opportunity to hit a special target for bonus points. Compete against friends and see who can get to 100,000 points first (we won’t tell you what happens then!).

Batting, Pitching, Catching

There are three different control options for Nicktoons MLB. Players can choose between using only the Wii remote, the Wii remote and the nunchuck, or the classic controller. Each of these options changes the game slightly, so it is up to the player to choose which way they prefer. The most difficult part of the game is figuring out the correct buttons and controls for each move. Once you have mastered this, the rest is easy.

Home Run

The game does an excellent job of combining our favorite Nickelodeon characters with the best MLB players. The cast of Nickelodeon characters includes SpongeBob, Patrick, Fanboy, Ren, Stimpy, Dudley Puppy, Kitty Katswelland many more. Players can also choose any of the current MLB teams. This is a super fun game that can be played solo or with friends! We definitely recommend trying out Nicktoons MLB if you are a fan of baseball or group games.
