The Vampire Diaries: Season 3, Episode 2 :: The Hybrid

Klaus is slowly building his army of hybrids. At the beginning of the episode, Ray (a werewolf turned hybrid) wakes up and takes them to his pack of fellow werewolves. Things don’t end well for them, as they are all either killed or turned into a hybrid. Why does Klaus need all of these werewolf/vampires? What does he have planned?
Search Party
Always persistent, Elena is still determined to find Stefan. She talks Alaric into joining her search, and the two head into the forest. Unfortunately for her, Damon knows what they are up to and intercepts them. Instead of discouraging her, Damon joins the search. But, along the way they get separated and Stefan is forced to save Damon’s life. His reward? Damon promises to keep Elena away from him. But, Damon makes a different promise to Elena. He finally gets her to confess her true feelings about him, so he promises to help her get Stefan back. But, Damon tells her not to forget her feelings for him once Stefan is back. Who will Elena choose?
Ghostly
Matt and Jeremy continue their friendship this week, with Jeremy confiding in Matt about the ghosts. They collect some of Vicki’s (Matt’s sister) old things, thinking they can perform some magic to ask her what she wants. Unfortunately it didn’t work out too well and he is still left seeing the ghosts of girlfriends past. Also, Tyler’s mom captures Caroline and gives her to a man named Bill. Turns out, Bill is Caroline’s dad and he is not too thrilled about her vampire status.
