Glee: Season 3, Episode 2 :: I Am Unicorn

Sep 27, 2011

This week on Glee (Season 3, Episode 2), Rachel’s mom returns and Kurt runs for class president. Read Kidzworld’s recap of “I Am Unicorn”, which aired September 27, 2011, to find out what happened!

Auditions

Mr. Schu tells the glee club that he will not be directing the musical this year so he has more time to focus on getting New Directions ready for nationals. His substitutes? Coach Beiste and guidance counselor Emma. He also recruits Artie to be a student director. Rachel and Kurt are both nervous about tryouts since they need the lead roles to get into school in New York. But, when Blaine’s audition goes better than Kurt’s, he must decide what is more important, his dreams or his relationship.

Unicorns

Brittany approaches Kurt and asks if she can be his campaign manager when he runs for class president. She says that she believes in him because he is a unicorn – someone who is magical, but isn’t afraid to show it. Unfortunately, they don’t see eye to eye on the direction of the campaign and Brittany is fired. Trying to console her friend, Santana tells Brittany that she is also a unicorn, and is special in her own way. This inspires Brittany to run for class president herself. Who will win?

Mothers

After getting turned down from New Directions last episode, Sugar gets her dad to bribe the principal into creating a second glee club. They even recruit Shelby – Rachel’s mom – to be the teacher. Shelby approaches Quinn (who gave Shelby her baby last season), and tells her she wants baby Beth to know her real mother. Upset, Quinn tells Puck she wants to get Beth back for herself. She decides the only way to do this is to get her life back on track. Her first step? Rejoining New Directions.

Alright let me start out by saying that, I do not think you should be forced to like anime. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions out what they watch. But their is some bogus reason to why people say they hate it. 1. "Anime is For Kids" - Alright we all know this isn't true. Sure some are directed towards kids but ones like Tokyo Ghoul, Attack On Titan, Boku no Pico, and several others that would definitely change people's mind. 2. "Anime is a bad influence" - And Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Walking Dead arent?  3. "Anime has very inappropriate messages to them that are harmful to children and adults" - Doesnt everything have their little "parodies" of the original that may have a rating of Triple X? If its out there, there is a "parody" of it. Not just anime.
